Sarawak Tourism Advertising: Making Brand New Concept video


Fair well to blogging for a long time, finally its time for me to back to my blog place. Recently busy on the final degree project. The title is study on the advertising of the Sarawak Tourism and discover how the visual advertising can improve the image of the Sarawak Tourism. Create a brand new concept of poster with new slogan and video advertisement (interactive method) to bring the Sarawak Tourism to the peak. Back to the intro brief on the Sarawak history, the Sarawak is home to 28 ethnic groups, each with its own distinct language, culture and lifestyle. However, when people mention about Sarawak, the first impression comes to mind is head hunter, jungle tree, hornbill..well in fact there are silly question ''you guys live on tree, how come got wi-fi one?''...duurrr..the public knowledge of Sarawak is insufficient. The tourism of Sarawak only increase during certain festivals like rainforest music festival. The rainforest music festival visual advertising is always the same and lack of concept. One of the main problems is that their poster is not conceptualized. What we see is what we get. A good concept can increase the image of a brand. The slogan need to be changed as well, create a strong and solid slogan, not the ''cuti cuti malaysia'' that kind of thingy anymore..way too old school. From 90s to 20 century..the impression of Sarawak tourism need to make revolution.

So by the end of the project, a new concept and stunning poster and video promoting Sarawak tourism will be produced. Sarawak boleh and Stay tune, Blogger. Peace.
